"AROUND THE BEND" by James Barber
I had spent the morning hiking around the Buffalo National River in Arkansas, taking many photos during the day. When I thought I was finished for this outing, I decided to hike to an area I had not seen before. This is just downstream of the Steel Creek area. As I rounded the bend, I found this smooth, mirror-like pool, protected from the breeze by the towering bluffs next to this wonderful river, giving me one more colorful image to capture.
