Artist's Description

"DOWNSTREAM" by James Barber

A downstream view of the Cossatot River in the Cossatot River State Park and Nature Area in Arkansas. Farther downstream is the famous Cossatot Rapids, a popular whitewater area enjoyed by experienced kayakers and canoeists. Cossatot is a native American word for skullcrusher, and a tortuous portion of the rapids is named just that.
