"FRISCO BRIDGE IN MONOCHROME" by JAMES BARBER
The Frisco Bridge was originally built in 1885. It spans the Arkansas River between the cities of Van Buren and Fort Smith, Arkansas. While the iron and steel construction has been rebuilt more than once, the stone piers are original.. The original turntable span has been replaced by a lift span to allow barge traffic on the river to pass and it is still in use today. This bridge was also used in the final scene of the movie Biloxi Blues.
