Artist's Description

"OLD OXFORD MILL" by James Barber

The Old Oxford Mill, located in Oxford, Kansas, was built in 1874. A hand dug millrace was built, paralleling the Arkansas River. This supplied the needed energy to the stream side mill. The old mill has been restored and currently is managed by school students that serve meals on Sundays in the mill restaurant.
